He was born in Jackson County, Georgia on May 31, 1947, the son of the late, Raymond Ransom Stewart and Evia Viola Campell Stewart.

Mr. Stewart worked as a jack of all trades and had many different talents. He served his country in the US Army. He loved fishing, working on old cars, playing pool, old model trains but most of all his family.

Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Patty McClention (Michael), Cynthia Morgan (Marshall); son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Stewart (Monique); daughter-in-law, Lisa Stewart; grandchildren and spouses, Nicole (Sage), Hayley (Corey), Heather (Forrest), Rikki (Ansley), Brandie, Briella; great grandchildren, Edaline, Elias, Arlen, Fergus, Arabella; brother, Gary Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Jane Hardin Stewart; son, Timothy Raymond Stewart; and 8 siblings.

A graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 2 PM at Carroll Memory Gardens with Pastor Mike Mallory officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Almon Funeral Home from

Noon – 1:30 PM. American Legion Post #143 will provide military honors.
