The Carrollton Center for the Arts will ring in the new year with the music and humor of singer-songwriter Vance Gilbert, January 25.

ā€œIā€™m really looking forward to this concert,ā€ said Arts Center Manager Tim Chapman. ā€œVance Gilbertā€™s music tells stories that cross all musical lines. The audience will be thoroughly entertained by his instrumental talent and his unique lyrical outlook.ā€

The Philadelphia native has released 14 albums blending contemporary acoustic folk, R&B and jazz with truth, joy and humor. Gilbertā€™s latest album, The Mother Of Trouble, features Grammy-winner Lori McKenna, Juno Award recipient Joey Landreth and Americana-Roots master mandolinist Joe K. Walsh.

This show is sponsored by Gradick Communications and Zach and Kelly Steed.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $10 for youth and can be purchased online at carrolltonarts.com, by phone at 770-838-1083 or at the centerā€™s box office at 251 Alabama Street.
