Lifestyle Evolution Inc., is recalling select lots of NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip and Dark Chocolate Pretzel nutrition bars because they may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

This is the same recall announced by customers selling these products, including Amazon, Costco Wegmans, Giant Eagle, on December 2, 2024 and not an expansion or different recall. NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip and NuGo Dark Pretzel are individually wrapped bars packed in 12 or 18ct Multipack boxes. NuGo’s item numbers for the bars are: 52101 for NuGo Chocolate Chip bars and 52901 for NuGo Dark Pretzel bars. The recalled product lot codes are Best By dates of- Dark Chip: 12/21/2025 through 12/23/2025, and Dark Pretzel of 12/14/2025 through 12/16/2025. Product was distributed through select retailers and online, nationwide.

The Mochi Ice Cream Company LLC, Vernon, California is recalling 1350 cases of Peach Mango Sorbet, because it may contain undeclared pasteurized cooked egg white. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs, run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

My Mochi Peach Mango Sorbet was distributed nationwide through retail stores.

The product can be identified by the My Mochi brand and the flavor of Peach Mango. The product is in an orange 6 ct box weighing 7.5 oz, in the freezer section with lots of 337-24 & 341-24 marked on the box.

There have been 2 reports of minor allergic response reported.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing (pasteurized egg white) was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of (the egg white). Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s packaging processes.

Bestway Sandwiches Inc., a Valencia, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 24,870 pounds of frozen chicken and cheese taquito products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The frozen chicken and cheese taquito items were produced on July 3, 2024, and September 25, 2024. The following product is subject to recall [view label]:

  • 20-oz. carton packages containing “CASA MAMITA CHICKEN & CHEESE TAQUITOS,” with Best By Dates 07/03/25 and 09/25/25 on the bottom panel.    

The product bears establishment number “EST. P-40327” on the carton package. These items were shipped to select ALDI grocery stores nationwide.

The problem was discovered after the firm notified FSIS that it received a consumer complaint reporting that a piece of metal was found in the frozen chicken and cheese taquito product. Another consumer reported to FSIS to have a dental injury from the product.

There have been no additional reports of injury or illness due to consumption of this product. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify theircustomers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. New York Mutual Trading Co., Inc of Secaucus, NJ is recalling 7.05 oz of Prepared Monkfish Liver (Ankimobo) because the package label contains undeclared milk allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk allergen run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The Prepared Monkfish Liver was distributed in FL, GA, MD, NJ, and NY mainly through restaurants and some retail stores.

  • The prepared monkfish liver is in a 7.05 oz polyethylene vacuum pouch, UPC code is 72546611224, and lot code is 2025.6.30 or before this date.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product containing milk was distributed in packaging that did not declare the presence of milk.

Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by failing to include milk derived from an ingredient on the product label.

The last distribution of the product in the marketplace was on December 14, 2024.

Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
