Judy Marie Collins Bailey, age 79, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Born on January 11, 1946, in Carrollton, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Aaron Thomas Collins and the late Florence Viola Huddleston Collins.
Judy was a homemaker and she was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed making her house a home for all of her family to spend as much time as possible with her. She had a kind spirit that she shared with everyone that she encountered. Judy found solace in her church family at True Vine Pentecostal Church. It was there that she was able to serve the Lord in spirit and in truth with like-minded believers.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her cherished husband Leon Bailey Sr.; daughter, Cathy Bailey; sisters, Sadie Stone and Polly Collins; brothers, Russell Collins and Newell Collins; all of whom she held dear in her heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons & daughters-in-law, Eugene & Dawn Bailey Jr., Dennis Bailey, Scott & Sarah Bailey, and Teddy Ray Bailey; brother, Pete Collins; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; as well as her other extended family members who will carry her memory forward.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Agan and Pastor Pete Collins officiating with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Nick Bailey, Bobby Vincent, Eric Vincent, Mize Bailey, Sammy Agan, Kane Bailey & Josh Jones. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with Pastor Shae Tallent conducting the graveside service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
