The Friends of the Whitesburg Public Library book store, Harvey’s House of Books, is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a half-price sale on most books February 10 – 17.  Sale prices are $1 for hardbacks and 25 or 50 cents for paperbacks.  Children’s and giftable $3 books are not included in the sale.  Romance novels are 10 paperbacks for $1 or hardbacks for $1 each, and there will be grab bags of 15 paperback romance novels for $1.

During the entire month of February romance novels, poetry and books about relationships are half-price.

Harvey’s House of Books at 1140 Main Street in Whitesburg has a collection of more than 20,000 books, including children’s, popular fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks and classics.  The store also offers magazines, music and DVDs.

All sales benefit the Whitesburg Public Library.  Hours are Mondays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Frugal Fridays feature half-price books every week.  For more information, call 470-345-9397.
