Customers may fill a brown paper bag with regular adult fiction and nonfiction hardback books for $10 or a plastic bag of regular paperback books or books for young readers and teens for $5. Bags will be provided by the store. Giftable, like-new books for $3, children’s books and DVDs and CDs are excluded from the sale.
The store at 1140 Main Street in Whitesburg offers 20,000 books, movies, music and magazines. All sales benefit the Whitesburg Public Library.
Harvey’s House of Books is open Mondays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Frugal Fridays feature half-price books every week. Call 470-345-9397 for information.
