Nancy Elizabeth Smith Morris, age 76 of Franklin, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.  She was born July 12, 1942 in Carrollton, Georgia. 

She moved with her family to Miami in the 10th grade, and graduated from  Hialeah High School.  Later in life, following her husband’s retirement, she moved back to Carrollton.  She was a retired medical assistant, and a member of City Station Church in Carrollton. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2009 by her husband, Julian Wayne Morris. 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and James Perry of Franklin, Georgia; sons: James “Jim” Morris, and his wife, Stacie, also of Franklin, Georgia, and David Wayne Morris of Lake City, Florida; and four grandchildren:  Brandon Puccio, Jason Morris, Logan Low, and Brianna Arp. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Ron Boswell and Deacon Joe Williamson officiating. 

Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
