Janice L. Sanders, age 70 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, August 23rd. She was born January 4, 1949 in Anniston, Alabama, daughter of the late Robert Moses and Gwendolyn Gainey Moses.

Janice was a 1967 Graduate of Mt. Zion High School and was Baptist by faith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Glen Sanders.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Tiffany & Marlus Moore; sisters, Gayle Galloway and Beverly Shoemake; brothers and sisters in law, Larry & Joan Moses and Johnny & Janice Moses; grandchildren, Chris, Tevan and Corrie Moore.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Sheldon “Shell” Hutcherson officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Joey Moses, Ken Moses, Brian Shoemake, Mark Grizzard, Brayden Gann and Marty Gann.

Members of the 1967 Graduating class of Mt. Zion High School will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
