Danny Paul Carswell, 72, of Roopville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born January 23, 1952, in Graceville, Florida, Danny was the son of the late William L. Carswell and Sarah Pauline Franklin Carswell. He earned an associate’s degree in Electrical Technology and built a successful career as the co-owner of Power Builders Group, where his dedication and expertise left a lasting legacy.

Danny will be remembered as a kind and hardworking man who cherished his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed sharing moments of laughter and love with those closest to him.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Etheleene Freeman; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jamie and Anne Carswell of Orange Beach, Alabama, and Shane and Nikki Fuller of Calhoun, Georgia; and his cherished grandchildren, Sarah Claire Carswell, Lacey Carswell, Katy Fuller, and Mary Beth Fuller; sisters, Linda Sue Carswell of Graceville, Florida, and Sarah Ann Madden of Alpine, California. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Cooper Fuller.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11am to 2 pm. Funeral service will follow the visitation in Almon Chapel at 2pm.

Graveside service and interment will be in Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville, Florida on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 1:30pm.
