Elizabeth Crow Watkins, 79 of Powder Springs, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Kennesaw. She was born October 8, 1938, in Dalton, GA, the daughter of the late Mr. Jerry Crow and Mrs. Lizzie Randolph Crow.
She was a retired seamstress from Malbon. She loved doing arts and crafts, earning her ribbons at the North Georgia State Fair in Marietta. She also enjoyed camping and loved working with the elderly. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Douglasville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Cecil Watkins on November 4, 2016, and her 3 brothers, Chess, Jerry, and Randy, and 2 sisters, Kate and Doris.
She is survived by four sons and daughters in law, Mike and Judy Watkins of Douglasville, Joe and Anna Watkins of Rockmart, Tony and Lisa Watkins of Powder Springs and Scott and Becky Watkins of Villa Rica, Sister, Polly Kile of Hiawassee, brother, Tom Crow of Villa Rica, Nine grandchildren, Chad, Candi, Crystal, Joseph, Rebecca, Rachel, Nikki, Kelly, and Casey; Nine Great-grandchildren, Esther, Isabelle, Molly, Cash, Carolina, Liz, Madison, Noah, and Cadence; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Fred Blalock and Rev. Chad Watkins officiating. Private Family Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, March 22, 2018.
