Louise Argo Gresham, age 90 of Whitesburg, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born February 24, 1928 in Carroll County, daughter of the late Earnest Argo and Belle Duke Argo.
She worked for Tanner Medical Center and Newnan Hospital as a nurse for more than 20 years and was a member of Banning Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gerry Gresham; sisters, Earnest Dean Argo Kittle and Hazel Watts; and two brothers, Bobby Argo and Harvey Eugene Argo.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Gresham and Dennis Gresham both of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Dustin Gresham (Paula) of Carrollton, David Gresham (Mistie) of Carrollton, and Michelle Burson (Stuart) of Carrollton; three great grandchildren, Aidan Gresham, Olivia Gresham and Ethan Burson and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Gary Brown and Robert Massey officiating. Interment will follow at Banning Church of God Cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Pat Smith, Scott White, Ted Holloway, Eddie Huckeba, Daniel Huckeba, and Kenney Yancey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
