Gisela Griebe Pritchett, age 80 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was born April 1, 1938 in Darmstandt, Germany, daughter of the late Willi Greibe and Rosa Gumb Griebe.

She was raised in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany and on March 3, 1961, she married her sweetheart, L.R. Pritchett. She came with him to the states where in 1966 she became a U.S. citizen. After L.R. retired from the Army in 1975, they became permanent residents of Carrollton, Georgia.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, L.R. Pritchett; stepson, Ronald Lee Pritchett; sister, Gertrude Griebe; and brother, Wolfgang Griebe.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lee Musick (Jimmy) of Carrollton; and her three grandchildren, Rebecca Musick Sheffield (Johnny), Tyler Lee Musick (Sarah) and Dylan Lamar Musick.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Min. Jeff Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tyler Musick, Dylan Musick, Johnny Sheffield, Joey Collins, Steve Pritchett, and Kurt Kraft.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
