Annie Lee “Ann” Palmer, age 87 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday evening, June 21, 2018 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born November 5, 1930 in Bowdon, Georgia, the daughter of the late Tillman Lee Stogner and the late Annie Olivia Styles Stogner.
She was a retired sales associate with Belks and was member of North Point Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert F. Palmer; step son, Randy Palmer; sisters: Hilda Abercrombie and Christine Allen; and brothers: Bobby Stogner, Jerry Stogner, Harold Huddleston, Ruben Huddleston, and J. B. Huddleston.
Survivors include her children: DeRee Carroll Moore (Scott) of Taylorsville, Shelly Palmer Barber (Dr. James) of Covington, and Victor Carroll (Raylene) of Carrollton; sisters: Martha Wright of Carrollton and Mary Ward of Rosenburg, Texas; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great, grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Ralph Caldwell and Rev. Rodney Agan officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with nephews serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and granddaughters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
