Carrollton, GA — Susan Lester has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Member and Community Affairs for Carroll EMC.

Lester joined Carroll EMC as the Manager of Member Services March 2003 after more than 20 years of managing university bookstores for the University of West Georgia, Georgia Tech and Emory University. During her tenure at the cooperative, she has implemented a formal communications department, developed a community relations team that also organizes employee volunteerism throughout six counties, implemented the company’s PrePay program, has been responsible for multiple customer mainframe conversions and technology implementations and has helped drive the cooperative’s member satisfaction scores to all-time highs, as reported by the American Consumer Satisfaction Index.
