Theresa Mae “Tweety” Bentley, age 64, of Rome, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. She was born in Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. William Perry Prance and the late Mrs. Frances Louise Wright Prance. Mrs. Bentley was homemaker who loved spending time with her whole family and especially enjoyed doing things with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald O’Neal Bentley; her brothers, Chris Prance and Pete Prance and her sister, Trudy Long.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Terri and Chris Jenkins of Rome, GA and Shannon George of Villa Rica, GA; her son, Ronald O’Neal Bentley, Jr. of Villa Rica, GA; her sister, Judy Patterson of South Carolina; her brother, Richard Prance of Lafayette, GA; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; five nieces and four nephews also survive. 

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 31, 2018 from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica at 11:00AM with Brother Lynn Janey officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton, Georgia.
