Gerald Lee Hendrix, age 67 of Carrollton, passed away January 23, 2019. He was born August 22, 1951 in Carroll County, Georgia, son of the late Luther Earnest Hendrix and Ruby Nell Turner Laneheart.
He was a Central High School graduate and had a lengthy career working for Georgia Power for more than 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Hendrix.
He is survived by a son, Corey Lee Hendrix (Ashleigh) of the Clem Community; his companion, Carmen Horsley of Carrollton; sister, Judy Lewis (Terry); brothers, Steve Hendrix (Deborah) and Mike Hendrix; and granddaughter, Kayleigh Hendrix.
The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In keeping with the family’s wishes, his body has been cremated.
