Lawrence Edward Clauss, age 65, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019.
Mr. Clauss was born in Bronx, New York on December 24, 1953, the son of the late Welcome Robert Clauss and Flora Schoell Clauss. He retired in telecommunications where he worked for, Sprint, AT&T and AGT and was a Christian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hayde Clauss of 47 years; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Charlotte Clauss of Cumming, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Shane Harman of Roopville, daughter, Kathleen Patricia Clauss of Carrollton, grandchildren, Cami Clauss, Gavin Harman, Haley Harman, Devon Harman; sister, Eugenia (David) Ramsey of Chatham, NJ; brother, Robert and Bonnie Clauss of New City, NY; sister, Laura (Jim) Marleau of Old Forge, NY; brother, Edward (Susanna) Clauss of New York, New York and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with his son, Kevin Patrick Clauss officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
In accordance with Mr. Clauss’ wishes his body was cremated.
