Larry Chadwick, age 91, passed away August 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. 

He was born December 28, 1927 in Punta Gorda, Florida. Larry was an Army vet who served in World War II and the Korean War. Larry and his wife Sue were long time owners of Chadwick Marine. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; Beryl and Jerri Chadwick, an infant son Jeff and a daughter Theresa Chadwick Miller. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Sue Chadwick and beloved pet Ben; twosons, Steve (Debbie) Chadwick; Chuck (Pam) Chadwick; three granddaughters Candace (Chris) Alewine, Ashley Chadwick and Katie (Kyle) Bateman. Two step granddaughters; Angela (Justin) Fitzpatrick, Brittany (Adam) Witt and three step-great grandchildren; Hunter, Olivia and Isaac; sister, Mary Kay Krantz of Englewood, Florida; Brother Ken (Linda) Chadwick of Carrollton and 4 nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. 

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Mr. Gary Thomas, Mr. Tony Bailey and Mr. Frank Hall officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Michael Parks, Michael Harris, Stanley Pyron, Hunt Saunders, Gary Thomas, Tony Fielder, Tony Bailey and Adam Whitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Johnson, Harold Fulford, Gary Wellborn, Gene Ivey, Robert Ivey and Frank Hall.

Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery with American Legion Post #143 providing military honors.
