Thomas Edmond Musick, age 86 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019. He was born on October 17, 1933, the son of the late Jonathan Hubert Musick and Myrtis Webb Musick.
Mr. Musick worked for 32 years at James River Corp in Newnan, Georgia. After his retirement, he worked at Precision Roll Grinders and Printed Specialties of Carrollton. Mr. Musick was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton, where he served as an elder for many years. He was also an accomplished wood worker, building many beautiful pieces for his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin and Larry Musick, and his grandsons, Keith Burns, Jr. and Kurt Burns.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Wilson Musick; his children and spouses: Michele (Keith) Burns, Tommy (Tena) Musick, Joey (Zella) Musick, Dawn (Chris) Scott; sister and brother-in-law, Ozell (Charlie) Gordon; sister-in-law, Peggy Musick; grandchildren: Kami (Jordan) Reed, Kyle Burns, Adam (Vanessa) Musick, Mandy (Justin) Cardell, Brian (Jennifer) Scott, Leigh Scott (and her fiancé, Austin Folds); great grandchildren: Landon Cardell, Alex and Alba Scott, and Amos Reed; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Bethany Christian Church, 2868 Carrollton-Villa Rica Hwy., Carrollton with Min. Allen Howard and Min. Mike Wood.
