Donald William Tewksbury, Jr., age 67 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on November 5, 2019.  He was born October 5, 1952 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Donald W. Tewksbury, Sr. and the late Maureen ‘Donnell Stracuzzi. 

He was retired from the Carroll County School System. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Jodie Finkle, Mike Tewksbury, Cathleen Noce, and Richard Tewksbury. 

Survivors include his wife, Roni Lewis Tewksbury; daughter and son-in-law, Dana & Bud Foster of Roanoke, Alabama; sister, Carol Tewksbury of Pittsville, Massachusetts; four grandchildren:  Mary Beth Wilborn, Adam Reid Willis, Reid Shope, and Levi Foster; two great grandchildren:  Anastasia Willis and Haven Cantrell; and two nieces: Antoinette Turner of Florida and Katherine Elizabeth Thomas of Hogansville, Georgia. 

In keeping with the family’s wishes, the body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Friends of Neva Lomason Memorial Library.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
