Carolyn Power Flowers, 84, of Villa Rica, GA died Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Tanner Medical Center, Villa Rica.
She was born in Marietta, Ga on June 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Cephus Allen Power and the late Mary Rolader Power. She worked for Ford Motor Credit Company in Atlanta for more then twenty years and moved to the Villa Rica area in 1971. She had been a member of Concord Baptist Church in Paulding County since 2000, and was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class, the W.M.U. and served on the welcoming committee. She was a very happy and caring person, seemed to like everyone she met and brightened their everyday world. It has been said that if you seek to do good, you will find that happiness will run after you – maybe this explains Carolyn’s beautiful life. She will be greatly missed, but will be long remembered by the happy memories that she leaves behind.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Johnny W. Bramlett and Maurice (Maury) Flowers; 5 brothers, Orman, Deward, Ivon, Hugh and Charlie Power; and three sisters, Gretha Loudermilk, Gertie Pruitt and Imogene Smithwick.
