Pamela Denise “Pam” Powell, age 56 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away at her mother’s home, following an extended illness, on Monday evening, October 1, 2018.  She was born August 12, 1962 in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of Wendell Patterson and Lorene Defnall Patterson.

She was a 1980 graduate of Villa Rica High School and formerly worked for Printpack for thirteen years.  She was Baptist by faith.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Johnnie & Mary Defnall and paternal grandparents, Newt & Mae Patterson.

Survivors include her son, Clayton Anthony Powell of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla & Marshal Bradley of Douglasville, Georgia; parents: Wendell & Lorene Patterson of Carrollton, Georgia; granddaughter, Willow Bradley of Douglasville, Georgia; grandson, Lucas Bradley, also of Douglasville, Georgia; and sister and brother-in-law, Tina & John Puckett of Carrollton, Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. John Puckett and Rev. David Gray officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jim Defnall, John Defnall, Danny Defnall, John Claude Puckett, Tim Voyles, and Tommy Morrow.

Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
